Pros

good management. good working atmosphere. very competent engineering staff. good relations between engineers and hourly workiers. good office facilities. good EHS program. Good vacation and sick pay. great communities to live in nearby, generally easy commute to work.

Cons

too much time and effort by management on non-productive activities.

Advice to Management

do not have separate rules for outsource engineers. sometimes implies they are "2nd class citizens".

    Pros

It is really neat to work for a manufacturer of Jet Engines, the product is really neat. As a whole the company encourages you to try new things every couple of years.

    Cons

With an engineering degree, the work I am doing is fairly boring. Benefits are slowly being taken away and pay is much better elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to listen to their employees. Management often enforces projects and goals which are unreasonable and won't work. When employees suggest improvements or needs for help they are not given any support.
