I have been working at Precision Document Solutions full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

The company has great product and solutions and has been a leader in the industry for many years and I believe will continue to be in the future.

Cons

Management got complacent with solutions and did not make the changes to maintain a top tier solution. This mistakes are starting to be address and hopefully will lead to an outstanding solution.

There is little to no training program for new hires.

Advice to Management

Don't get distracted by gaining or losing business and focus on building the best possible solution. The better solution will take care of keeping and gaining business.

Create a training program for new hires.

    Pros

The only pro that I can think of is that management is for the most part clueless. This leads to no real accountability. Not a place for solid workers who value positive feedback and career direction. If you want to fly under the radar and do nothing all day long, then this is the place for you.

    Cons

Senior Management is biding there time to see what their next opportunity might bring. All employees are treated like expendable resources. Company is delusional in there message to the employees that they could never find a job better than this one. Most employees are actively looking for there next job as their no loyalty being created. No raise potential at all. No career advancement at all. Product is bordering on obsolete and the client's are very dissatisified.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue. Try surrounding yourselves with people that are smarter than yourselves, shouldn't be too hard. Get educated on how to manage and treat people so that they actually care about the company and the company's goals.

I worked at Precision Document Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Offers ok benefits, tons of over time, creativity, company seems to have grown, always seems to be hiring.

    Cons

Micromanagement, mangers never seemed to know other's jobs in and out, pay isn't that great, too much work and not enough people, hence the "tons of over time", and it's sometimes to the point to where you are expected to get your job done by taking work home/staying late. Regarding time off, was regularly either given guilt about taking time off, sometimes and not limited to asking employees to take less time off. Raises are few and far between. Company also moved jobs from OKC to Dallas (on multiple occasions), had certain people underhandedly "learn jobs" so they could train your replacement, hence the fact that you feel replaceable. This place has a high turnover.. A certain member of management who is very high on the chain regularly yells at people and fires people easily, and supposedly spilled out his M&M's and made an employee count them one by one "just to see if they knew math".

    Advice to Management

Learn things about your employee's jobs. Don't act like people are replaceable. Don't disrespect your employees. Be proactive, and not reactive. Pay your employees better. Do something about the high turnover you've had for many years.
