    I have been working at Premera Blue Cross full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Premera has decent benefits, and decent work life balance. They are attempting to create a wellness culture so they offer those programs as well.

    Cons

    HR has over 90% turnover year over year, and the lowest engagement/satisfaction scores in the company. It might be fair to say that the only reason you should consider a job in HR at Premera is because you like to hit your head on a never moving brick wall, or you really have no other option. But that doesnt sound so nice, so just say that it offers a good commute for you. It is almost impossible to get anything worthwhile done because of all the turnover and vacancies.

    Advice to Management

    Might the issues with HR lie with the top leadership, VP and SVP? How could it not? They are the only ones who have not turned over. With all the money spent on HR and HR related programs, you could do a lot better.
