I worked at Primerica part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Primerica is a great company, but you will only make money if you commit to really working. Primerica will give you all the tools, all the resources and all the training you need. You just have to commit your self.

Cons

You will not make it in this company if you don't put in enough effort. If you give up easily, you will not get anything out of it. Also, while the training is good, many of the meetings are boring and are just like pep rallies.

Advice to Management

There is too much time spent on pep rallies and recognizing people. Many people just want training instead of pseudo-motivational rallies.

I have been working at Primerica full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Company targets under-served market with quality product lines.

    Cons

The company focuses on each agent's warm market and has no lead process at all implemented from the corporate level which would help drive production

    Advice to Management

put our name out there and advertise using radio/television/social media. The company, whether it's touted or not, is COMPLETELY focused on recruiting/showing the opportunity to large numbers. Stop moving into different product lines and focus on assisting more with the licensing/recruiting aspect of the business.

I have been working at Primerica part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Become licensed as a life insurance sales agent, can get investments license. If you are good at sales there is potential to make money.

    Cons

Sneaky practices. Recruit people through weekly meetings that make the job seem really easy to make a ton of money. Ask you to call your close friends and family and not tell them anything about what you are selling but just that its something great and they need to sit down with your manager and he will explain everything They say its not a multi level marketing structure but it is. Money you make is all about the number of sales you can make and the number of people under you who you have recruited and the sales you make.

    Advice to Management

Should make it clear what the job actually is and what skills are actually required and give people the proper training. You just recruit anybody regardless of there background or skills because in the end you know you can just use their connections for possible sales leads.
