I have been working at Primrose Schools full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Best thing about working here is no weekends and don't have to work past 7pm at night.

    Cons

MANY CONS Director receives special priveleges, personal work schedule, can work from home and receives 'secret bonuses on the side' Spends a ton of time on how she looks, comes in late and complains how 'horrible' we are and how she is always tired yet she hardly works. The Assistant should be the one who is the director. The assistant so friendly and hard working and don't believe she receives the secret bonuses....

    Advice to Management

The director even works parent night out and splits the tips with everyone that doesn't seem fair. The director if very biased as to who she hires. She is a phony.

Current Employee - Assistant Preschool Teacher

I have been working at Primrose Schools part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great staff. Liked the management. Good curriculum, atmosphere, and resources. Training was well done.

    Cons

Though the ratios were above Texas average, 12:1 preschoolers to a teacher and 4:1 babies to a teacher is still too many. Some of the preschoolers weren’t potty trained well and a teacher would have to help them change & clean up their accident while leaving 11 preschoolers to their own devices. Not too bad during center time, but during teacher instruction time that’s stressful. And they often didn’t have enough...
