Pros

Great training and support, fantastic colleagues. I loved working for TPR. Especially once you start private tutorials, the pay is quite good.

Cons

Variable schedule is a pro and a con. Class times are fixed in stone, and are always late afternoon/early evening and weekends.

    Pros

They do provide adequate training during the intensive training period. You are paid minimum wage during the training, and they only pick a few to hire after training so you need to be very comfortable with public speaking or teaching.

    Cons

May need to drive far to teach depending on the availability of classes; instructors should be better compensated

I have been working at Princeton Review part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Workload is flexible. Pay is pretty good. Boss and management are extremely approachable and will listen and work with you, not dictate to you. You'll work around your central office but will most likely drive around. Mileage is compensated so driving isn't a big deal. Schedule and class organizers are very good at what they do--coordination with schools and test locations is key and Princeton does a good job of this.

    Cons

Classes can be sparse at times, depending on the time of the year.
