I have been working at Princeton University full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

quiet work place. very independent workload. relaxed environment, benefits are great. lots of vacation time. the number of snow days are a little ridiculous

Cons

The salary is modest. everyone is very young which implies that the work expected is for more junior employees in the beginning stages of their career. They rely on the cheap labor of post docs with the name of "Princeton" as motivation to move the work along.

Advice to Management

pay technicians more
