No opinion of CEO

Pros

Excellent Salary and learning opportunity.

Cons

As an African American manager, I felt that opportunities were not as prevalent to me as those of other ethnicities. This was also apparent in the stats of senior level management of the african american decent.

Advice to Management

Promote ALL deserving Employees. Additionally, rate and treat each individual fairly regardless of the color of their skin.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

The MBA equivalent as they say really is something else on it's own but you don't get everything out of it.

    Cons

Stuck in a silo. Obvious flaws that cannot be changed due to corporate structure. Worth working at, for a couple of years.

    Advice to Management

Push for internal reconstruction of the business so it is less rigid.

    Pros

It is a global monster that has limitless opportunities
They wrote the book on brand management
    Billion dollar brands

    Cons

Only mega billion dollar ideas get resources for development
It's the P&G way or the highway

    Advice to Management

Let go of the seven signs model - skin care, Tide, enough already. While it is a good thing to share ideas that work, it may not be the best idea to shoe horn every product launch into the same mold. It wouldn't hurt to hire a few folks that aren't Havard MBA's - the gene pool is getting a little thin and that can be a bad thing when the economy takes a sudden and violent turn. Most of the Ivy league MBAs have never had to make battlefield decisions in tough times.
