I worked at Progressus Therapy as a contractor (Less than a year)

Pros

My fellow therapists were always supportive. Direct management did the best they could. The pay rate would have been nice had I ever received an accurate paycheck.

Cons

From my first day things were disorganized. There were issues with technology required to complete my notes, lack of reimbursement for equipment, multiplying caseloads and multiple errors in my paycheck.

Advice to Management

You need to work on management skills, communication and organization. Contact employees directly with questions instead of making assumptions.

I worked at Progressus Therapy as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

This is your typical run of the mill contracting company that employs therapists OT, PT and Speech in the schools. Many years ago, it was an excellent company that offered support to therapists and school districts. They offered fair compensation packages to their therapists as well.

    Cons

In the last several years, the company has encountered many management struggles. They have been through a series of various vice presidents and more importantly presidents. It is very sad to see a company become so chaotic so quickly.

    Advice to Management

Go back to your old model. Bring back the clinical coordinators to help the therapists in the areas. Things were working before you terminated my manager. Stop over working the therapist coordinators because their calls were meaningful.

    Pros

Organization is very focused on driving positive outcomes for children and for our employees. A lot of focus is on talent and building strong, diverse teams. Company is nationwide and growing under new, stronger management.

    Cons

Has had a history of leadership changes, but now is much more solid in its management.

    Advice to Management

Continue to drive the business with a focus on its mission.
