Very Very Political
Upper Management needs better communication skills
Insufficient Diviersity in Upper/Sr. Management
Promotion seems to be based more on friendship than merit and performance

Advice to Management

Establish a fair employee mentoring program
Improve employee training
Offer more employee incentives -- This company has lost too many good employees that leave to go work for its competitors

    Pros

    Paycheck during recession; good benefits

    Cons

    No training, no advancement, no growth, managment feels you should be grateful to have a job, HR has blinders on, won't assist with issues, promotions go to friends of friends & managers have no experience in their dept, can't assist with any issues or direction. Very restrictive dress code

    Advice to Management

    Hire experienced managers that know processes, commit HR to actually doing their job, rotate employees into different positions

    Pros

    Consistent income
    Can listen to music while working

    Cons

    Manager micro manage and are very mean and nasty
    Training is horrible, they just throw you out there
    Last minute they inform you of dead lines that must be done
    Over worked and over loaded employess
    Very Stressful work envornment and high Turn over
    They have had over 4 lay offs in the last year
    Clicks and favortism among managers and supervisors

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees.
    When help or additional training is needed, do not ignore your employees
    Work environment and morale is not friendly, professional, or caring. Its very cold, mean, and cut throat.
    Managers and supervisors should help team mates instead of just advising the work that needs to be done.
    Many supervisors spend there time walking and talking around the office. They do little work and little help toward there staff.
    Train and give people a learinging curve time period to adjust and do correctly. Stop having unqualified people train new employees.
    Supervisors need to be Governed just as well as the team staff.
    Give incentives. Stop Scaring people about there jobs and the quality of work would be better and the working environment would be more professional and friendly.
