I have been working at Prop Shaft Supply full-time (More than a year)
Pros
The management have made several changes and have really made a sincere effort to boost morale, train better, and overall make this an overall great place to work and it is starting to pay off with the staff.
We are growing so fast that we definitely are always looking for good quality people. We have closed some of that staffing gap, but always encourage people to apply. Thank you for recognizing the positive changes that management is trying to make. Just like all companies, we are a work in progress and want to hear from our employees what we can continue to improve to make Prop Shaft a "Best Place To Work" in Walworth County.... MoreLess
I worked at Prop Shaft Supply full-time (More than a year)
Pros
Two 10 minutes breaks
Cons
Low pay - personal reviews are always late 4 days of vacation - starting after working there for one year Management - one Manger asked an employee to take a step outside. Challenging him to a fist fight.
We are sorry that you feel this way. Our starting pay ranges between $12 and $15 per hour depending on position and experience and in Walworth County, that is actually above average. We also work 4 - 10 hours days, so the vacation is 40 hours after 1 year or 1 week - which again is pretty standard in manufacturing. Regarding the manager comment, the manager was here for a very short time and was let go immediately due to that incident. That was well over a year ago. We do continue to make improvements all around as you did see while you were here.... MoreLess
