I worked at Prudential as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, got a car for the summer. Lots of overtime and flexible schedule.

    Cons

Headquartered in Newark, NJ. If you have been there, I don't need to say more. The Hartford office, where I worked was nicer, but too sketchy for me.

    Advice to Management

    Get out of Newark!

I worked at Prudential full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The company brand is one of the few things that's good about Pru. The name will look good on your resume and there's a great benefit package.

    Cons

Stodgy, stiff culture. Division amongst job levels. Nothing is about real work, the only thing that matters is how good you can spin the work that you didn't do. Work life balance is a joke unless you're senior management.

    Advice to Management

Take more control over the culture, stop phoning it in only when the EOS comes around.
