I have been working at Prudential full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Large corporation offers many opportunities if you are skilled in quantitative analysis.

    Cons

Management capacity is extremely limited in corporate center groups - particularly Financial Management and Human Resources. Under the new Strangfeld leadership, diversity has taken a step back. While executive leadership talks of a commitment to diversity - it is just talk. Weak HR leadership and lack of aggregate data exposes the enterprise to nagative EEOC risk.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps you should begin acting on EOS results and create a true "safe" 360 degree feedback loop. The Ethics and HR groups know there are significant issues, but continue to protect management wrongdoers. Employees rarely speak out, as those that do become victims of retaliation. I have seen this time and time again.

I have been working at Prudential full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Competitive compensation, great benefits, flexible work arrangements, very good training, opportunities for advancement, culture of values.

    Cons

Difficult to take advantage of all the opportunities the company has to offer due to it's size and scale.

    Advice to Management

    Communicate more frequently.
