  1. "Great for career path (nothing is hotter than mobile right now) - just not a great setup for a start-up industry"

    Pros

Great access to top advertising clients in the US (Purina, Scion, Allstate, Bank of America)
Amazing benefits (Publicis benefits are second to none)
    Top rewarded mobile agency
Great launchpad for career in advertising/mobile industry (literally having this experience is as good as gold on a resume)
People are very cool within the company

    Cons

Management more concerned about revenue than employees
Worst parts of working in start-up and large company combined: lack of resources (employees, technology) but revenue demands of a public company - not allowed to hire ahead of the curve - must first show revenue before hiring. No equity in company, but all the head-aches of a start-up (no process, career path)
Pricing of services are too high to compete with smaller/more nimble start-ups
Lack of importance put on mobile within greater Publicis/Vivaki groupe, which hampers growth of Phonevalley

    Advice to Management

Invest in your people more than your bottom line
Hire more resources in the US
    Create career paths for employees
Work more efficiently vs. longer hours
Create incentives for employees to stay within the walls of Publicis vs. going to start-ups that have more upside

    "Treats freelancers like crap!"

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Time off when needed. Breakfast 1x/week.

    Cons

Treats freelancers poorly. No direct deposit, no reviews, no raises, left out of important company events/meetings/emails, no promotions and very odd. Now - they want to slash hours!

    Advice to Management

Stop treating your freelancers poorly. Usually, we know more/do more than your treasured full-timers.
