Some of the best researchers from all around the world have come to study and work at Purdue University. Even though Purdue is a state school, many people consider it Ivy League caliber, particularly along the east cost.

    Cons

There is not a whole lot to do around Purdue University being located in West Lafayette, IN.

    Advice to Management

Keep the price down for students.

I have been working at Purdue University full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Purdue University is a great place to do your post-doctoral training. There are various opportunities for collaboration with different departments. Of course a lot depends on your direct supervisor.

    Cons

Its a small college town which means there aren't many venues for recreation outside of the university clubs and activities. Not having an airport makes it a hassle to travel sometimes.
