Pros

Good name recognition, training and development opportunities and resources, good level of client contact

Cons

Very political, no respect for personal life, long hours, employees are sometimes disrespected by management. Work is often not of a strategic nature. Of course, this varies very much by your group and is largely dictated by how the partner of your group treats his/her team. Compensation not commensurate with what you are expected to put in.

Advice to Management

Ensure that partners and directors are trained in team management

    Pros

PwC hires some of the top talents. They provide a great learning experience and will open many doors in the future. Employees that make it to at least the Senior Associate level become technically strong and learn how to manage work for the most part.

They are at the top of the game in technology compared to other companies.

    Benefits are pretty reasonable.

    Cons

Horrible work life balance which is somewhat expected. They will work you hard every year you are with the firm. Expect to work at least 55 hours during busy season which could be 5 months+ in a year.

    Promotion system is highly political.

    Advice to Management

Focus on your employees. Many Partners show clear favoritism to certain employees and treat others very poorly.
