Pros

PwC offers vast resources and experiences. The compensation is probably the highest of the Big 4, and seems to be a continued area of focus. Flexibility is the new buzz word.

Cons

Compensation is lower than industry. Review process is highly subjective, regardless of the "transparency". Often difficult to utilize opportunities available.

    Pros

PwC has opened the door for me to a whole new world of networking and opportunities. You meet people all across the nation, and to be honest, I've met some of the smartest people I know through PwC. You'll be exposed to high profile companies and you'll work with CEOs and top of the rank client employees, straight of out college.

    Cons

The Big 4 life style is true for the most part - regardless of which line of service and group you're in. You can expect long hours and work over the weekend, as well as sacrificing some of your personal life in order to just meet expectations.

    Pros

The firm invests heavily in its people, provides staff with opportunities to take on additional responsibility, and is a great place to work with your immediate peers.

    Cons

The culture is still "old school" in that it espouses mobility and flexible work arrangements but it can be hard to sell the partners on idea as a long-term option.

    Advice to Management

Make pay competitive with industry to slow attrition.
