I worked at PwC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great clients & demanding environment
Clear career path and execellent system for L&E and career progression
Various business units, enabling employees to move within the organization

    Cons

Large organization with sometimes very bureaucratic processes.
Performance driven culture (i.e. focus on billable hours per day) not for everyone
In some areas underperformers are being retained which impacts overall team performance and individual contributors' motivation levels.

I worked at PwC as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Associates were approachable and friendly. Most (but not all) took the time to explain the reason behind the assignments, which atleast let me understand why i had to do some of the more mundane tasks like vouching sales.
I was lucky to be attached to audit teams which gave me tasks that the junior associates would usually handle, so I learnt alot, and was really able to get into the working culture of the company (no buying coffee for associates, etc).
Each intern was assigned a senior manager as a careers coach. Mine was especially friendly and took time off to chat with me and see how I was doing.
Very good work-life balance, with dance classes, intra-company sports events and charity drives. Working hours were manageable, though there were a few days when I had to stay late.
    Overall a good experience.

    Cons

Though people were generally friendly, the conversational language frequently became Chinese rather than English. Multi-racial as Singapore is, I could see this becoming a problem for people who did not speak Mandarin, to connect with colleagues.
