I worked at PwC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Co-workers are young and relatable if you're a fresh college grad.
Promotions every 2-3 years are pretty much guaranteed if you're competent.
Opportunities to transfer to different office locations around the world.
Cross line of service rotation opportunities.
    Jeans Friday.
Made some life long friends here.

    Cons

Working here takes a toll on you mentally and physically. There will always be a metric that is unattainable. No work life balance, some work life flexibility (leave at 6pm but must work from home). High turnover so teams are often short staffed. Sometimes you will be demanded to travel and work at locations you have no interest in for up yo 6 months by HR due to "business needs". Not the best pay. A lot of managers get promoted just because there's no one else to promote (last one standing in their start class) and you will learn nothing working for managers that are not technically sufficient.

    Advice to Management

Treat your staff with respect. Give advanced notice if working on the weekend is needed (instead of Friday at 6pm).

I have been working at PwC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very good employer, good benefits, high level of knowledge at all levels, opportunity to work in global projects, and culturally diverse.

    Cons

It requires long hours; you end up working 50 to 60 hours a week for a regular salary (low salary if we take into consideration all the stress, responsibility and hours devoted to the work). The environment is very demanding; you end up living only to work. If you have a family you will have to put work first, projects are demanding and usually need immediate assistance, (so it can mean working until very late, weekends, etc...) . It has an employee review process that is very strict and you are being compared to people who work 70 and 80 hours a week, so even if you work 50 you will still look like if you did not put enough effort. You actually feel like a machine, forget about your personal life.

    Advice to Management

Work/life balance is not really true; it is a place full of workaholics.
