Pros

I was fortunate to end up on teams with some really great people.

Cons

The hours are long and work life balance is almost non-existent...particularly in the Austin market.

I worked at PwC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Supportive peer network with exponential growth on all levels. Cool events to boost morale and connect with people from other market teams. Bonuses given when you pull more than your weight and go the extra mile. Having PwC on your resume will get you that extra boost to get your leg in the door with most companies. Plenty of room for promotion. They'll work you like dogs for little pay but you have opportunities to build relationships with people from all levels. Awesome benefits and initial 401k matching plan.

    Cons

Stress on all levels. Any stress on managers trickle down to the associates and is reflected on how you are treated and on your resume even though you are not the cause of the stress. Unprofessional managers with little respect for confidentiality. HR does little to actually support and just leaves the door open to allow you to confide in them, yet provides no real solution. You can't actually confide in HR. Very political environment where politics are accepted in driving unfair reviews. They encourage constant communication but letting them know too much can work against you. Always feel the need to be careful.
