I have been working at PwC full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

You can get a great learning experience in a very short period of time. You will work with some very bright individuals. If you want it, you can continually get challenged

Cons

If you are a high performer, beware. The firms have no way to reward those people who work well above and beyond others. High performers are abused and not rewarded

Advice to Management

Figure out proper forms of recognition for individuals who work above and beyond their peers. Don't have some individuals working 80-90 hours a week, while just around the corner, their peers are working 40 hour weeks - Put pressure on managers to speak up when staffing is well understaffed. Also - I would suggest you be less greedy at the top of the pyramid; spread those funds throughout your pyramid and hire more individuals; you will not lose your best people.

    I worked at PwC full-time

    Pros

    1. You get to work with outstanding/smart people who are commited to their work.
    2. They are high on meeting expectations and high quality of deliverables compared to other consulting firms.
    3. Great work experience.

    Cons

You can work as much as you want to, and your career growth depends on it. Most people work long hours so you end up working long hours as well to outshine others. However, since the people are great, work doesn't seem so bad.
