I have been working at PwC full-time (More than a year)

Pros

You learn a lot and are exposed to many, many, tax rules. Your career has the potential to advance twice as fast as if you were in industry.

Cons

You have to work a lot of hours in order to shine, your utilization (chargeable hours) is a tool people are always useing to compare themselves to each other. The result is peple trying to one-up each other and we all end up working a lot more. (PwC managemnt is genius for that!) It is not impossible to escape that game, but you have to be someone that id very, very, smart and whose technical skills are above and beyond. (So you gotta be 1 of 100.)

Advice to Management

You dont need advice, you know what you are doing.

    Pros

people...very credible and understanding people. Human capital is harnessed with the abundance of opportunities from staff and up. Trainings, etc... are practically handed to you.

    Cons

Public accounting, in general, can be rough hours. Since in public, lots of admin to keep track of profitability, also at times can push growth too fast. In short, public accounting is not for everyone.

    Advice to Management

Concentrate on improving on personnel well being one staff at a time vs as a group.
