Pros

Awesome people, great benefits, offices and amenities. Great for career building if you can handle Bureaucracy.

Cons

Travel (extensive in Advisory consulting); some Advisory Directors on the assignments need very urgent soft skills and project management training.

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work but also re-train or filter the few Directors in Advisory who do not deserve their position.

    Pros

The culture was very good for public accounting. The managers are very open and willing to listen and help you learn. Partners treated you like people and actually cared about you personally and professionally compared to what I've seen at other firms. You work a lot, but there is a lot of exposure and knowledge learned while you are there. And they were very good about flexibility and letting you take time off when things were slow.

    Cons

As with big corporations you can get lost in the shuffle. Was discouraged by some of the actions taken place at the National HQ. Were behind big time with a lot of their practices and procedures that funneled down into a lot of extra hours for the staff that weren't originally budgeted for. With all companies, politics could get in the way.

The best training out there. Flexible hours in the offseason.

    Cons

    Long hours during busy season.
