Pros

Very professional organization. Opportunity to learn best practices that you can use throughout your career.

Cons

It's a big place, bound to have its share of poor managers. Bureaucracy can be overwhelming. Very much an audit mindset no matter the role.

I have been working at PwC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

PwC is a great place to start your career. The name is as good as gold if you are looking to switch jobs. There are a lot of perks, decent health insurance, and if you are lucky, some are compromised of great people. At the end of the day, your experience at PwC will vary depending on who you work with.

    Cons

The hours are very long. There is a lack of work-life balance. People are attached to the mobile devices when they are away from the computer - it is really unhealthy. Given the long hours, the pay is not amazing as it may seem. Overall, the compensation seems really high, however an associate's compensation is close to minimum wage once you factor in the time spent on the job. Unless you are planning to make partner, I'd say run for it after two years.

Also, given that PwC is a big 4, one can easily get lost and steered off track (feel like a small fish in a big pond). With the same token, a lot of opportunities exist within the firm.

    Advice to Management

Recognize employees! A pre-tax contribution aware of $1000 is an insult, especially after the LONG LONG LONG hours your employees spend making money for you. Moreover, there is a double standard, some employees work their tale off and are not recognized while others slip by with doing the minimum and are (1) promoted at the same time and (2) awarded the same measly $1000 contribution award.

    Pros

Great pay for the interns and will get a lot of experience right away.

    Cons

Work is mind numbingly boring, have to work unnecessary overtime and do not get paid for it

    Advice to Management

    Overtime pay
