Pros

I got the experience and confidence I needed in order to get a job I liked.

Cons

Training is inconsistant in quality at best and they dont care about you actually being able to do things, only in looking like you can. Once On-site they want to hear from you as little as possible and dont want you to stay with them. I was placed on two sites, the first I was joing an existing group who had no training in what they were doing but requests where being ignored. We only heard from QA when the contract was ending and no one took the offer to stay on with the client. QA dont want consultants to stay with them to retain their skills and experience, they want them gone and replaced with the next wave of graduates. Multiple requests for a pay review fell on deaf ears and then after my second deployment came to an end I was then suddenly given a pay review but told that as I was now on the bench they wouldnt give me anything dispite a long history of going above and beyond. Take my advice, once you have served whatever term you are contractually obligated to, consider them to be paying you to job hunt. When I asked if there was a way to reduce my notice period they offered to remove it entirely. Oh, and they press you heavily to post positive glassdoor reviews so dont trust everything you read

Pros

The skills platform developed by the former Cloud Academy team was innovative and well-received by customers.

Cons

Since my voluntary departure, the company has proven to be unreliable and somewhat cagey. Under the terms of their articles of association and ISD, they had 12 months to repurchase my preferred shares. Nearly 18 months have passed, and they refuse to repurchase my shares or communicate any reasons for the delay. One might conclude that they are dealing with financial difficulties.
