I have been working at QBE full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Good benefits and fairly friendly personel.

Cons

Constant change in evaluation proceedures for call center and sales. Flakey management and no clear cut style with evaluating agents on phone service. Prefrences given to certain agents and an unfair system with evaluating them on performance. If management does not like an ojective report on a particular agent they will have you do another one until the answer they want is provided.

Advice to Management

Too much micro managing and an absurd grading system of agents. Standards need to be fair and objective, not subjective with unpopluar agents.

    Pros

    There are no Pros in working for this company in my opinion.

    Cons

    Production and quality goals are impossible to reach. Feedback from managers is almost non existent. Management does not care about their employees or value their loyalty to the company. Pretty much if you are not perfect with your production and quality you will not keep your job no matter how long you work for QBE. Management does not care about the employee only covering themselves. Got Fired one week before my 20 year anniversary.

    Advice to Management

    Learn how to manage people or find new managers for the whole company.

    Good benefits, Socially conscious.
    Competitive salaries. Pleasant culture.

    Cons

    May be getting too big, adding lots of red tape.
    Sometimes requires too much time away from the family.
