I have been working at QVC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Location, hours, casual dress, no smoking environment, clean premises

    Cons

Very strict, constant watching and monitoring, does not defend employee, feel like you are walking on egg shells, not enough training, no help from supervisors, they expect AHT over customer Service, employees are all on edge, listen to complaints from customers and supervision. Not a good job in my opinion. I worked in call centers before and never hated going to work before.

    Advice to Management

Stop using point system. Seek quality over quantity and you will have a better bottom line. Customer don't like being rushed. Your elderly customer base is your bread and butter. Your work force will be loyal and not so many turnovers. So many rules it makes a person very uncomfortable. Each call is different. Haste brings about many errors! Haste also is sloppy work! There is no team! There are those that have a title and those that work hard that are never good enough no matter how hard they try. We apologize for the AHT perfect workers and clean up their mess.

I have been working at QVC as an intern (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I worked as a variable labor position so it was nice to make my own schedule and was only required to work 32 hours a month

    Cons

When theres no work at the plant you pretty much can't work or get hours so don't count on this as a consistent income

    Advice to Management

More acknowledgement or respect towards employees for good work
