    Pros

It's government contracting. You sit at your desk and bill your hours.

    Cons

It's government contracting. You sit at your desk and bill your hours. You don't have to do anything, and in many instances you are encouraged to not do anything, just bill the hours.

    Advice to Management

    Fire yourselves.

I worked at QinetiQ North America as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pretty laid back in terms of dress code and which hours you work in the office.

    Cons

Too much BS, too much politics. Program Manager EXTREMELY unprofessional and lacks people skills. Also plays favorites and terminates people based on her personal feelings. Lack of communication between management and so expectations clash between managers, leading to lots of confusion for employees. PM also actively refuses to communicate with team members, even if they request meetings.

Micro-management to the most ridiculous degree. For example, if you email saying you are working with John on a document she will email back and ask what do you mean? Anytime you a need a couple of hours off to go to a Dr. appt or something, you will be told to take the whole day off unpaid.
