I worked at Quad/Graphics full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Strong paternal atmosphere, culture, innovators in their space. Quad stays on mission.

Cons

In a business that has 0 growth and up to a 5% regression per year.

Advice to Management

Harry,s way. It is starting to become superficial to acquired employees and clients

I have been working at Quad/Graphics full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Quite decent benefits, including competitive health insurance and 401K. After a certain # of years there is also profit sharing and stock options, but these don't amount to much.

    Cons

Low pay and blatant nepotism are the standard. There is a trainee program that seems good, and employees who go through this route get a lot of opportunities, at least the ones that are passed up by headquarters relatives. Anyone else, no matter education or experience, will likely stay in one position for years and years, going nowhere.

    Advice to Management

Foster the talent you have or you will continue to lose it.
