    Pros

    While the on-site health care benefits are nice, the "quality of care" is lacking as the company privately funds their health care options. They strongly promote "preventive care"...which is something we all should do.

    Cons

    This is for Quad Data Solutions unit---Pay is well-below market for job duties. Have to work a full year to earn 5 days vacation. Managers aren't knowledgeable of basic database marketing concepts and strategies. They also undermine your work so they can look good for their boss. VERY SLOW integration of software tools. Turnover is continuous, of both employees and clients. Don't feel there is any opportunity for advancement if you haven't been there for 15 plus years. VERY HIGH uncertainty avoidance to new ideas.

    None--keep up the good work.

    Pros

    You get to work on National magazines and some of the best photography for images. You can build an impressive portfolio.

    Cons

    The term "head winds" in any company memo = no pay increase. Management also will remind you that they can and will change your shift schedule without notice and without your input. Management also reminds you they can and will terminate staff without cause, concern, or profesional manners. Regardless of years worked, you will get thrown under the "Quad bus."

    Advice to Management

    Before layoffs, give staff more options:, temp time off, reduced pay. Offer a sales positions to production personnel since they know products and services better anyway.
