I have been working at Qualcomm full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Emphasis on innovation, excellent leadership, diverse set of projects to choose from and a very collaborative environment make working here blissful. In general, excellent quality of co-workers comprising of highly talented engineers led by strong, open and reliable senior management.

Excellent work-life balance, flexible hours, 100% health care, lots of clubs which are Qualcomm sponsored and support outdoor activities like lunch time bike-rides, lunch-time soccer, basketball, football etc.

    Cons

Switching teams is difficult. It gets harder to switch teams unless the current project slows down.

    Advice to Management

Management should be more flexible in terms of allowing engineers to switch between teams and should encourage employees to pursue their long term goals.
