Approves of CEO

Pros

Lots of opportunities for training, surrounded by competent and qualified individuals who are friendly and helpful

Cons

Been a temporary employee without benefits for over two years. Forced to take time off unpaid.

Advice to Management

Remove the forced break in service. Being a temporary employee for so long is already hard on morale, and this feels like a kick in the pants.

    Pros

Benefits, experience, and ability to grow professionally.

    Cons

In some departments, there can be an ego issue and communication is bad between departments.

    Advice to Management

Try to make it easier for people to move up based on merit instead of the structured "time at title" methodology we are moving towards.

    Brilliant people to work with

    Cons

    Can be political
Sometimes tough to find the information you need, a lot of it resides within the people
    Pockets of hierarchy

    Advice to Management

More management training for engineers...not all those that are technically competent or skilled make good managers, they need some help from time to time
