I have been working at Quarry Integrated Communications full-time (More than a year)

Pros

great atmosphere and work environment with an active social committee
friendly, welcoming coworkers and management
all the tools you need to get the job done
fun, fast-paced projects are pretty common

Cons

a few legacy projects still kick around now and then with some of our long-time clients that aren't always the most fun to work on (but these are becoming fewer)
various tools/paths are used for different projects (bug tracking, review, etc) - which can be confusing even for some of the veterans here

    Pros

    Good opportunities to work on different types of clients and a broad spectrum of challenging work, for small to large companies. Every day is different. People are very friendly and open. Physical space is amazingly cool.

    Cons

    Be prepared for long hours. Some clients can be quite difficult (even mean). You're either "in" with those that make decisions, or you're not.

    Advice to Management

    Don't let personal biases get in the way of smart business thinking. Be more open to diverse opinions and thinking.

    I worked at Quarry Integrated Communications full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Fairly flexible schedule/work from home options when needed. Competitive junior and mid-level salaries. A lot of smart people.

    Cons

    Canadian-based agency, currently with no US employees; only a US billing address. An absence of leadership and focus from the senior management team results in deficient/no strategy (or follow-through) for organizational growth. Senior management is blind to the mounting disengagement by the majority of employees, resulting in a toxic culture build-up. In addition, continued lack of billable work by a large senior team questions the sustainability of the organization.
