Pros

Queen's Medical Center is the best hospital in the state of Hawaii, and the trauma center of the pacific. Queen's administration treats the employees fairly. There are opportunities for career growth, such as a clinical ladder program for nurses.

Cons

No Parking and inadequate retirement health care benefit.

Advice to Management

You need to create a better retirement healthcare package for your employees. Even if we start contributing towards it while we are employeed.

I worked at Queen's Medical Center (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good team work, in every department, and brilliant communication via email. Lots of training and opportunities to progress.

    Cons

Additional responsibilities added to your current work, but no reward for the additional responsibility. Example, checking added to a pharmacy technicians role, but as it is not a ACT role, the pay rate remains the same. This is a huge responsibility with potential repercussions with no financial backing.

    Advice to Management

Other accredited incentive and don't be mean with the wage structure.
