Approves of CEO

Pros

-prestige, and an environment where hard work is appreciated
- one of the things i love, is the benefits... but thats what you find anywhere

Cons

-sometimes its a little too big
-useless pitching
-need to get the actual banking assistants to do actual admin work, that would be great

Advice to Management

- dont work your analysts so hard, so you can recruit better employees, have less turnover and gain a better reputation to poach other top talent

    Pros

About the only thing good regarding RBC Bank (USA) is staying to care for the clients we gathered through the years. If the job market would turn around we'd all be so out of there!

    Cons

Need I say that just when you think you got it- you don't! Too many chiefs at the top with too many different bits & pieces of information coming daily from multiple layers of management. Thus the daily manual updates! Employees are so micro-managed then what's worse: management knows it and does nothing about it. Reviews called PMD's are a joke- your manager makes you change the real feedback comments so he/she won't be held accountable yet you are for not making the goals. You are squeezed to produce such high numbers when the reality is if you even come close they change the tally at bonus time. So under rewarded for our efforts.

    Advice to Management

Stop dreaming! You want to be the best relationship in the southeastern US then allow the employees the time to really listen to the needs and stop pushing products on clients while telling yourself the clients are underbanked! Needs are needs- needs are NOT pushed sales to reach goals! This makes your clientele leave like many already have. We're not Wachovia people!

    Pros

good experience, good recognition at bonus time of hard work and effort, looks great on resume

    Cons

If you are a good at what you do, management does not want to move you out of that position.
It seems that those employee's who whine, tattle, complain or even threaten to quit move forward in an effort to keep them happy.

    Advice to Management

Make sure that employees who are doing well and not complaining are happy and dont wish to move forward or be cross trained.
