    Pros

The financial benefits and competitive salary (locally) headline some of the best reasons. Most benefits will improve with each progressive year and our rights as employees are observed. Opportunities for training in present areas of expertise are available to all employees and externally at local universities, based on specific conditions being fulfilled.

    Cons

Autonomy and authority for line managers are restrictive, Display of initiative is not condoned. Transparency in career advancement is lacking.

    Advice to Management

Allow managers at the SBU decision-making authority and ensure accountability. A reasonable level of growth will not be achieved without some calculated risks and these managers see them frequently enough.

    Pros

We are the buy-side. Good to know different mutual funds and get really good connections. Colleagues are friendly and willing to help.

    Cons

The working pace is slow and tedious compared with investment banking. The tasks are not enough challenging to realize one's potentials.

    Advice to Management

Could get higher expectation and be more ambitious in client searching. Relationship building could be conducted in a more efficient way.
