    I worked at RE/MAX full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Broker is a high producer, although very abrasive and a borderline con artist. 95% commission split.

    Cons

Very cutthroat culture. Broker will expect you to perform his menial tasks while not reimbursing you with either money or leads and will take your commission from you if given a chance.

    Advice to Management

If you work to empower your employees they will be more productive for you than you can be on your own

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at RE/MAX as a contractor (More than 5 years)

    Pros

RE/MAX is the most recognizable real estate brand. They offer a good lead program, a lot of free education, and free marketing materials. RE/MAX has good training programs.

    Cons

The fees are somewhat expensive, but the exposure is worth it if you are willing to work hard and take advantage of all they offer for your money.

    Advice to Management

At one point management talked about a program to help agents get more REO and short sale referrals directly from lenders, but it did not seem to pan out. Maybe they could reignite that effort.
