      Pros

Working at RED SKY has been such a pleasure! As a dedicated recruiter myself, I couldn't ask for a better company to work for. This place is a recruiter's dream job, and here are the reasons why: - You control your own destiny. You reap what you sow. There's unlimited opportunity to earn a 6-figure salary, as long as you work hard and close deals, which is not impossible to do given all the support and tools by the company. - You have the full and equivocal support from the management. You tell them what you need and want, as long as it makes sense, you'll get it. You also have all the tools needed to successfully fulfill your job. - Speaking of management, the style is open and free. You can talk to management on just about anything and everything under the sun. The company is being headed by an owner/CEO who is always willing to listen and very easy to talk to. He is fair with his decisions, and his priorities are always aligned to the benefit of his employees. He tries his best to make sure you are comfortable, sometimes to a fault. - The clients are mostly within Fortune 250 companies, organizations which are easily recognized by anyone. We work with companies within various industries such as Cyber Security, Information Technology, Banking, Healthcare, Gaming, Financial Services, Retail, and many more. - The business development and account management team consists of people who are very hard working to make sure we have fresh requirements to work on. I never experienced a time here at RED SKY wherein there's nothing new to work on. Each recruiter is being assigned with unique roles so there's a higher chance for everyone to close deals. The best part: Most of the requirements they bring in are exclusive to RED SKY, which means you don't have to worry about competing with other firms for the same job! - The recruitment team is as solid as ever, thanks to the efforts of everyone, from the manager and the recruiters. All of us work harmoniously with each other, and you can be sure that help will come if need it, sometimes you don't even need to ask. We have an open dialogue where you can freely voice out your concerns, then we discuss it on how to fix it that is fair for everyone. - The office is stacked with snacks and drinks, and there are plenty of things to do if you want to relax and unwind. Also, the environment is laid back and relaxed, you can come in in jeans and shirt and no one would bat an eye. The place is also pet-friendly, with the full support of the management if you want to bring your furry friends in. - There's an option to work from home once or twice a week if you are local in Denver like myself. Some of my teammates are out of state, so they are working remote 100%. I may have forgotten a couple of things, but I think I made my point.

      Cons

Working at RED SKY can be very intense for lazy folks who only think of getting their monthly paychecks and not interested in closing deals. This is a performance-based organization; if you don't hit numbers consistently and not perform your role wholeheartedly, then there will be intense conversations with the management. They don't kid around if you don't do your job, and you will get called on it. This job is not for the faint of heart. If you don't plan on working hard, then this is not for you.

        Pros

RED SKY and leadership truly care about their employees and are constantly asking for our feedback on how to be better. They are a transformational (in a positive & significant way) organization. Always trying to improve and evolve its culture, services, and support to clients, candidates, and employees. It is not perfect but is anywhere?!? I love that they have that as a core guiding principle! I'd recommend RED SKY to anyone.

        Cons

None - its been a great ride

          Pros

Remote flexibility? Many local and national staffing organizations offer this perk.

          Cons

If you are considering a job with Red Sky, please do your due diligence in researching the company and CEO. Run a background check on the CEO.

        Project Manager

I interviewed at new company for the same role I currently do, so I have all the skills they need and more. I went through 5 stages of interviews, including pp in person and final 1 was on Friday over week ago. I was expecting to have news by last Friday. No news, so I emailed them last Friday asking for indication when can I expect the results, but we have Tuesday evening today, and no one emailed me back. This is the 1st time I have to wait so long after final interview for news-Should I worry?

How long to typically hear back from a mid-sized company (200-300 people) after an initial interview? Their internal recruiter told me “a few days” and it’s been a week. Interview went very well (I thought!) Thinking of following up on Thursday if I don’t hear.
