I worked at REVOLUTION FOODS part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

The idea of what the company is about is good.

Cons

Poor management, poor pay. No recognition of their employees. I've talked to a lot of people that have passed through that company and they all say the same thing. That they feel overworked, underpaid and unappreciated. They are very unorganized.

I have been working at REVOLUTION FOODS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Revolution Foods has a fantastic culture with a focus on success as a team and living the mission. Everyone's willing to pitch in to support one another. The leadership is innovative, transparent and genuinely cares for the team, always striving for improvement. The team is full of amazingly talented and passionate individuals. There's a great work/life balance, with flexible hours and telecommuting depending on the position. The company has and continues to grow quickly, leaving lots of opportunity for professional growth which is backed by leadership. The mission is strong and at the end of the day that's the glue that brings us all together - we're helping to make healthy food for kids!

    Cons

There's always room for improvement within a fast growing organization, but leadership recognizes this and offers genuine support. More resources being made available to the operations team would relieve some of these growing pains.

I worked at REVOLUTION FOODS full-time

    Pros

    Flexible work schedule, positive mission

    Cons

Management does not embody core values and in particular certainly do not "care for all." There's no work/life balance, you're expected to respond to emails and calls at any time of any day. There is no positive reinforcement, and zero accountability. Most decisions seem to be made based on personality and cronyism. If you don't come from the restaurant, retail or industrialized food world you're an outsider and your opinions are not valued. Communication is abhorrent and general business practices are unsavory and unprofessional.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees; make sure that they are trained properly and given the tools they need to be successful. Show some appreciation for the hard work that the employees on the front lines of the company put in. Value your human capital more than your actual capital. Be transparent in your decision making and improve communication on all levels.
