Pros

There are a lot of talented, intelligent employees that work very hard, are approachable, and have a very team friendly attitude. Social events are fun.

Cons

Upper management is extremely secretive and doesn't communicate. They have no idea who is doing what work or how good or bad it is. Recognition and salary is based on how close you are or suck-up to the CEO's small inner circle and how late you stay and how loudly you complain about being busy. They make a big show out of appreciating employees but it is actually a battle to get any sort of recognition and forget about a fair salary, no matter how hard you work. It's all about appearances here.

Advice to Management

Communicate more and evaluate people's actual work not their personalities.

    Pros

This is an incredible agency to either begin your career, join mid-way through your career, or grow through to a senior leader.
The senior management listens to all employees from interns up about what they are looking for in everything from career growth to culture.
The CEO, Amy Binder, personally interviews every single candidate that walks through the door. At my last agency, the CEO did not acknowledge me for MONTHS despite being in the same room on a weekly basis.
Amy also has weekly/monthly lunches with employees at random to listen to their feedback. For those who are not comfortable with that, there are countless opportunities to speak with talent and development teams OR team leaders.
Managers do not operate in a one-size-fits-all manner, but rather work with how their junior staff prefer making the relationship mutually beneficial.
Tons of opportunities to participate in new business.

    Cons

None that I have found yet to be totally honest.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what your doing! This experience has been incredible thus far.

    Pros

If you are a proactive person, you will succeed. There is no limit to what is possible if you are willing to speak up and get stuff done. You can ask for what you need, share what you think and bring ideas to the table no matter what your level.

You have an open door to senior leadership. If you bring them a solution to a problem, they will let you execute it. This is extremely rare and my absolute favorite thing about RF|B. Some have said people play favorites but it's not actually about that. It is about character, attitude and your commitment to driving the business forward not just your to-do list.

Great brands that do interesting work. Your senior lead will be really involved with you and everyone on your team has great relationships.

    Cons

It isn't for everyone. You aren't going have your hand held and patted on the back all the time.

Speedy, speedy environment that can sometimes be over whelming.

To be successful you have to be business orientated and have the maturity and ability to see perspective beyond your own. This can be difficult when you are growing and young in your career and it is expected of everyone. If you can learn and adapt to have this skill though you will be a stronger employee no matter where you end up! So con or pro - you decide.

    Advice to Management

Continue to give people the opportunity to grow and keep the culture of entrepreneurial spirit.

Continue to develop internal process so that there can be more structure around what we do.
