Pros

New ownership is reinvesting in customer relationships and BD. They have returned to firms culture to one where honesty rules the day and integrity is found in daily decisions. The new “no nonsense” approach is changing the culture in the best way possible. Its simply good to come to work again!

Cons

Years of incompetent senior leadership has set the company back 10 years. Human resources administrators have failed to innovate and transition in critical times and the organization needs new leadership. It is simply holding the company back...

Advice to Management

Keep working hard. This one time great company is worth saving.

    Flexible work ennviornment
    Trying to break the PM focus
    Attempting to break into "real" consulting

    Cons

    Old thinking workforce
    Set in ways
    Idea that "this is the way we have always done things" still works
    Losing competitive enviornment
    Going after ANY work whether capabilities are there or not
    Significant focus on nepotism for friends and those that have been around a long time rather than performance

    Bottom Line: Even with new leadership, this organization will continue to flounder if a new culture is not set in place.

    Advice to Management

    Get rid of the poor performers. Set clear direction for where the organization is going and ensure that individuals are all on the same page. Establish a collaborative culture and eliminate the infighting within organzation. Focus on credentials, capabilities and performance -- not tenure.
