Pros

lots of free time because they never work you and its a very easy job theres really no pros to this job

Cons

low pay and half the time your work 2 hours for one day. the supervisors treat u like dirt and counting slaves "faster faster" you wind up spending 20 dollars in gas to make $24. your pay raise consist on how fast u count but there machine is constantly messing up so its impossible to get a high aph(average piece per hour). I've heard other districts arnt as bad but district 293 is a waste of your time if you need a job to make money.

Advice to Management

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

The people watching is quite extraordinary. The people you will end up working with are like no other people on the planet.

    Cons

They will work you insane hours if you let them but if you stand your ground on your availability they are usually pretty good about working with you on it. Especially if you are a valuable asset in an inventory.

    Advice to Management

There isn't enough positive feedback when the teams do well, but when they mess something up there is plenty to be heard from the management.

    Pros

If you get the hang of counting things quickly and can use a ten key number pad, this job is incredibly easy. A decent, relatively low stress way to earn a few extra dollars. No set workplace, you meet up at different stores (grocery, clothing, hardware, books, other retail, occasional warehouse) to conduct the inventory.

    Cons

Early mornings and late nights. Stores don't want the inventory crew around during peak hours or when they are open at all. Counts will start at anytime, but 6am is a typical morning start with a count that can last anywhere from 3 to 10 hours. Night stores may not get out until after 2am. Traveling two and three hours to a store with minimal compensation wore on me over time.

    Advice to Management

Offer more transparent and attainable efficiency goals. The "bonus" system for hourly employees was a joke. If it were actually tied to profits the company would be bankrupt, which means the company is just trying to get the most out of its employees for the least amount of money. I know all companies do this, but most of them hide it better.
