Pros

Pros/Cons can depend somewhat on the office you work with. My local office has great people. Offers great work/life balance and good compensation package including benefits. (Benefits do continue for awhile when you are on the bench.)

Cons

Risk of being on the bench longer than you want. Economy downturn has reduced the amount of projects available dramatically.

Advice to Management

Home office upper mgt should come out to branches more and meet with consultants.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

-Hourly pay with 1.5 for overtime worked
    -Commend employees for good work
-Better benefits than staffing firms usually offer
    -Lunches, consultant parties and goodies
    -Work with fun people

    Cons

-Some employees are compensated as little as they can get away with, even half what their associates are making for the same jobs
-Too much time on the bench, sometimes unnecessarily
-Management incentives don't seem to encourage client service managers to build business

    Advice to Management

Develop a more equitable compensation structure and reward employees and client service managers who bring in fresh business.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

They give out goodies, have parties and award you when customers compliment your work.

    Cons

They leave you with too much bench time and threaten to never use you again if you work in the interim for another company. Their reimbursement of expenses isn't always timely.

    Advice to Management

Manage your inventory of employees to meet your clients needs and no black balling when employees work for other companies to have income.
