    No opinion of CEO

I worked at RMF Engineering full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

None really for a design engineering firm.

    Cons

Upper management is a good old boy network. Protect their favorite rank/file even in the face of continuous unprofessional behavior by the same individuals on a daily basis. Take advantage of the interns and newly hired engineers just out of school. Witnessed many episodes of humiliation and verbal disrespect. Witnessed a manger place a positive review to intentionally offset the negative ones and brag... about it. Expect a lot of overtime without proper compensation.

    Advice to Management

Hire new executive members that have conflict resolution skills and fire the ones that are too thinned skinned. Some have a reputation they can dish it out but cannot take it due to being emotionally immature. As I was warned in my first week by other management team members.

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at RMF Engineering full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Collaborative teams of friends align to provide detailed design documentation to high profile clients. Firm invests big time in its employees through internal education like Leadership Development Program, and Project Management Training. Firm leadership is actively listening and applying input from young employees through the "Ascension Group" program. Great freedom and flexibility for high performing employees!

    Cons

People who just want to show up at a job and not grow or take on personal responsibility will not fit well in the more dynamic performance oriented environment. People who require rigid processes may find the more flexible environment challenging.

    Advice to Management

Continue to boost flexibility, as technology allows, in the workplace for drafter and designer level employees.
