    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Raytheon full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Really good benefits, Flexible schedule (every other Friday off, 9/40 schedule). Some managers are really solid. In a great neighborhood.

    Cons

Some managers are terrible, Hit or miss. One manager highly recommended me, the second one thought I was terrible. Some projects expect you to work unpaid overtime, and if you do not you usually get lower performance reviews.

    Advice to Management

To Bloated! Managers who report to managers, Managers on contracts that are bit 25% time but are on program full time, High pay grade wastes about 1.5~2 solid engineer's worth of contract money.

I have been working at Raytheon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Raytheon has been a great place to grow my career to date. I have been given challenging assignments and projects to work on aas well as differing roles that have increased in responsibility over time. The company gives you room to make your career what you want it to be.

    Cons

The downside to having a great assignment and experience is that its totally dependent on what group you're assigned to. I've found that some groups do a much better job at supporting career growth and learning opportunities.

    Advice to Management

More transparency in company communications could go a long way in advancing the overall team feel of the workplace.
