I have been working at Raytheon full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits, company paid shutdown around Christmas and New Years, diversity, flexible schedule, telecommuting, employee discounts, company iPhone, performance profit sharing, stability of the company, access to current technology, paid time off / vacation is better than many companies offer, paid training, 401k, good work life balance.

    Cons

Company politics, lack of communication and flow down from leadership, excessive bureaucracy to get things done in some cases.

    Advice to Management

Improve communication from mid level management to employees. Reduce the amount of bureaucracy as it is a major barrier to innovation especially in IT.
