I have been working at Real Time Resolutions full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Pay. Good work/life balance, flexible schedule and hours. Business is flourishing in light of the downturn and surplus of sub prime mortgage debt. Company is growing by leaps and bounds and promotes primarily from within. Casual dress code. Can listen to head phones while working. Genuinly tries to help borrowers and help resolve debt. Interesting work in certain departments. Given a good deal of autonomy and enjoy a laid back atmosphere. Just moved into a nice office building.

Cons

Some tasks can become monotonous.

Advice to Management

I worked at Real Time Resolutions as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent starting Salary for a recent college graduate which is $30k a year plus over time and commission. Nice people, they do company lunches, unlimited coffee, laid back environment, casual fridays.

    Cons

Management Sucks, no real structure, the VP's are rude and they sexually harass the women in there. Have to kiss a lot of butt to get promoted.

    The training sucks.

    The collections position was monotonous.

    Advice to Management

Care about all of your workers. Invest more time in training, to get a better worker

    Pros

Their training program will teach you a lot about mortgages, delinquent accounts, and foreclosures. This experience will also help the collector to grow callous to rejection and negative feedback from the people you contact.

    Cons

Management encourages aggressive and hostile tactics in order to recover past due money on homes that are in or near foreclosure.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to shorten the training program and also focus in on a more methodical, and palatable, approach to the borrowers they contact. As the old saying goes, "You can catch more fly's with honey than vinegar."
