I worked at Red Frog Events as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

Flexible hours, great travel destinations. Laid back office environment.

Cons

Manual labor, disorganized. Worked on ugly projects (i.e. counting supplies in warehouse) that are not within my realm of interests.

I have been working at Red Frog Events as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -Family Lunch every Monday
    -Laid back work environment
-Endless opportunities to really do what you want to do at the company

    Cons

It is a very unprofessional, cliquey environment

    Advice to Management

This place is not all that it is cracked up to be. Sure, they have a cool office. However, the reason it is so "cool" is because they expect you to stay there 24/7. Along with the cool/laid back office environment, it is also incredibly unprofessional. There are cliques worst than there was in high school, and the fact that they refer to it as the place where "all of the cool kids from college" work says a lot about the employees. These people need a serious reality check that they are no better than anyone else. There are perks of free lunch, unlimited beverages/snacks, etc. But once you see the type of work you're doing, there is no way that I would work at a place like this if they didn't have these perks.

I worked at Red Frog Events as an intern

    Pros

You get to work on a variety of teams, which is great. However your days will either be extremely busy or completely dead from my experience, but others may not have had the same. Everyone is generally really friendly and it is certainly a relaxed, fun environment. You also get a mentor which is great.

    Cons

You do a lot of the nitty gritty work -- negotiating with vendors, lots and lots and lots of googling for venues and such. The environment can get competitive toward the end when people start wondering who will get hired out of a huge intern class. For that matter, the hiring process is top secret, so you don't know how to stand out.

    Advice to Management

Don't create such a separation between the interns and full-timers.
