I have been working at Red Lobster part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Decent pay with good promotion opportunities

Cons

I worked at two different locations; at any location you will spend a long time on your feet and bad management.

I worked at Red Lobster part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I liked that I was always meeting new people. I'm a people person, and so working in a restaurant I was meeting new people all day everyday. It was a good way for me to learn how to communicate with people in a professional manner.

    Cons

The management at my store was not the best. Everyone at a restaurant is going to gossip, but the managers should not partake. Ever. It sets up this favoritism that is felt throughout the whole establishment.

    Advice to Management

If you have standards, follow them. Don't astray for certain people and expect them to follow the rules if you've let them break them in the past.
