Pros

Cons

its a serving job...gets old in about 5 minutes. not much going on. can be fun on busy nights. idk you figure it out

I have been working at Red Robin full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Pays well
    Easy to prepare food
    Hours are there

    Cons

Some restaurants have a slow season, Red Robin does not.

Attitudes make or break how the night goes due to the volume.

Lots of allergies, mostly to gluten.

Management is hit or miss. If you're unlucky enough to have terrible managers, good luck trying to get Human Resources to do something about it. They'll hang up.

Menus change all the time at any restaurant but some items (such as the super popular smoked pepper burger) on red robin's menu, are out of place. All burgers take 9 minutes or less to cook and put up in the window, but the Smoked pepper burger takes AT LEAST 14 minutes to. Having one burger on a menu that takes almost double the amount of time to cook, compared to the rest of the menu is boneheaded. It kills ticket times.

    Advice to Management

Cut your team some slack. When it's busy, keep the kitchen calm instead of antagonizing them to get you something. It's poison for the work environment.

I have been working at Red Robin part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

great money and days off requested are usually granted

    Cons

management turn over is very high. not very organized, none of the managers are on the same page so its like working for a different restaurant every shift. most shifts are unprofessionally ran. high stress.

    Advice to Management

get your act together. you have lots of great hard working people under you that could make tons more money for themselves and for you if they where happy and supported.
